Sarah joined the Police in 2001 after completing her degree. She has spent all her career in Northamptonshire Police, starting in frontline and community roles before seeking promotion, and am currently a Chief Inspector. Sarah has undertaken roles as a Force Incident Manager, within contingency planning, event management and as the Authorised Firearms Officer Inspector.
I have spent the majority of my career in Specialist Operations and have been a Firearms Commander for almost ten years and was previously the Tactical Armed Policing Team Inspector for the East Midlands Operational Support Service.
My current role is as the Staff Officer for the NPCC Committee for Performance Management Coordination on behalf of CC Simon Edens and I also lead on the development of Values for Northamptonshire Police, Co-Chair the Women’s Forum and enjoy coaching and mentoring. I formed part of the BBC Expert Women this year and undertaken broadcast training as part of that role.
I take an active role in developing equality and diversity within specialist roles and also in the development of understanding of gender identity.
I am married to an AFO and have three young sons, I am a keen runner and boxer.
