I am DCI Amanda Davies, a Staffordshire Police Officer of over 26years working within the Regional Organised Crime Unit for the West Midlands. I have been a committee member for both the Staffordshire Association for Women in Policing and BAWP for many years. I represent the West Midlands regional forces on the national committee. 2019 saw our regional forces come together and deliver SWIP19, this was an outstanding success and a great showcase for our four regional forces working together, a close relationship that continues.
I contribute to the BAWP awards event team as the sponsorship lead and I am always looking for new contacts.
My policing career has taken me through Local Policing, Tactical support, Child protection, Intelligence and now into a regional role where I have been responsible for coordinating nationally the County Lines response and lead on maintaining our regional K & E Cadre.
BAWP helps me maintain an excellent and vibrant network which is so important in the way we Police today.
